National Safety Day is observed on March 3rd every year in India to raise the awareness about the importance of safety measures and precautions. Safety is most important aspect of our society and it is crucial to promote it to prevent accidents and hazards. It can be celebrated by organising the events and range of activities that aim to promote safety in all spheres of life. The theme for this year to celebrate National Safety Day is "Reducing Workplace Accidents".
National Safety Day was initiated by The National Safety Council of India (NSCI) in 1972. To encourage companies and industries to prioritise safety and promote a culture of safety in their workplace, the NSCI was founded and working in that way.
